Track on computational fluid dynamics on supercomputers provides students theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of numerical simulation of the fluid and gas. In the theoretical part of the track leading scientists from around the world deliver lectures on the basics of fluid dynamics, basic computational methods used in the gas-and fluid dynamics, the methods of linear algebra, which are used for implementation of implicit numerical methods. Attendees will learn about the track with the current models of the turbulent flow of liquid and gas.

In practical sessions, students will work with leading software systems - ANSYS, Star-CD, FlowVision, Flo.EFD. As part of the track, students will be introduced to one of the leading programs in the search for optimal solutions IOSO, are examples of tasks to find the optimal aerodynamic shape.

The track is designed for engineers, graduate and undergraduate students who are using methods of computational fluid dynamics to solve practical problems, or participate in the creation of computational fluid dynamics software systems.
